The Hudson Valley Polonaise Society (HVPS) has announced their annual Polonaise Ball Dinner and dance to be held on October 20.  Each year, the HVPS proudly sponsors the Ball to celebrate the many accomplishments of the organization, as they wrap up the busy month of October, typically referred to as the "Polish American Heritage" month.  Pokolenie will be featured in this years celebration, with members participating in the Grand Polonaise, as well as a performance that is sure to please the crowd.  Dennis Polisky and the Maestro's Men are also featured this year, performing live polkas, Obereks and Waltzes.  Once again, this years Ball is at the Middletown Elks Lodge, and tickets are available by calling Michelle at (845) 591-8535 or Cynthia (845) 649-5307.  6 pm Hors d’ Oeuvres - 7 pm Grand Polonaise Dinner - Dancing & Desserts - Cash Bar

FREE Polish Fest - Franklin St Norwich, CT 2:00-6:00 pm
Norwich’s Polish Fest 2018 is a free to the public event being held by Global City Norwich.  In addition to music, dancing, and an inflatable bouncy houses, the festival will feature authentic Polish foods, history and artifacts.  The event will take place from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., and will take over the stretch of Franklin St. between Bath St. and Willow St., which will be closed to traffic. The Maestro's Men will perform on the main stage from 2-6.
